My work investigates how systems shape identity, desire, and belonging. I focus on youth culture because it is where new behaviors, aesthetics, and social codes emerge first. And where commercial and media systems invest most heavily.
Youth consumers are not only trendsetters but also long-term value targets, making youth culture a key site where identity formation intersects with market influence.
A practice Grounded in Industry Experience
Working across moving image, immersive media, and visual communication, my practice is informed by four decades of experience spanning design, film, TV, animation, fashion culture, education, and digital production. A significant strand of this work is developed through City Limits, my original narrative universe examining youth, technology, and structures of control through speculative storytelling pitched as a serialised animation drama and fantasy.
This foundation allows me to analyse style, branding, and media as systemic forces rather than surface trends.
Neon Billboard:
Production Approach
Neon Billboard is in development as an immersive advertising-style video installation emerging from my City Limits universe. The project combines solo creative direction with collaboration, working with London-based studio Brewery VFX and sound designer and film composer Udit Duseja.
The production brings together CGI, moving image, motion design, sound composition, and immersive display formats through a contemporary digital pipeline.
The project reflects my practice model: concept-led, visually driven, and developed through a mix of independent authorship and specialist collaboration.
